I went through a clutch job every 10,000 miles. It was said little gal by the time I got rid of it after only 35000 miles. Quality sure has come a long way since then. 1 or 2 water pumps blew also. Snapped a rear leaf spring.
If I remember the clutch would go out with basically no warning because a graphite part would crack and break.
It seemed normal and generally fun at the time.
